Climbing up
"Climbing up" was the name chosen by the sports centre located in town. However strange it may sound, there is more than climbing involved in it. What is more, its wide range of facilities and activities are enough to meet most of the students' needs.
To begin with, the first thing one encounters after entering the door is a massive climbing wall. This might deceit first time visitors, but right behind it there is a whole world of gymnastic equipment hidden. Besides the spacious are where different training rooms dedicated to practice of physical sports are located, there is also a pool where the swimming team trains. Clients can also swim in this pool that stays open until midnight or attend the afternoon lessons. In addition, the sports centre also offers a number of different yoga and body combat classes that people with different levels can attend.
College students usually find themselves low on energy and with not enough time to exercise. Nevertheless, Climbing up offers students not only a place they can go to relax or release their stress, but also with the perfect atmosphere to meet new people and engage in new and exciting activities that will make them get out of their comfort zones. However, students need to be the ones that make the effort to commute to the centre as it is ten kilometres away from campus.
All in all, the local sports centre is the perfect place for students to get some fresh air and forget about death lines and group projects. Now it is up for the students to stand up for their own health and make a change in their sedentary routines.
