Exercise: You have just completed six months in a new job. In preparation for a progress meeting, you have been asked to write a report to your manager. 
Your report should explain what you feel you have achieved in the job so far, describe any problems you have had, and suggest any future training that would be suitable.

REPORT

This report aims to provide an insight about my job experience during the last six months. To do so, I will briefly go over my achievements, describe some of the issues that have arisen, as well as some suggestions regarding further training. 

ACHIVEMENTS

In line with my promise to the recruiting team, the goal for my first six months in this company was to get to know and understand the different elements involved in the creation of new projects. Even though it took some time, during my forth month working alongside some of the best professionals of this trade, I was finally able to comprehend how the insights of a publishing house work. 

PROBLEMS

As I had suspected, my lack of experience working with other people proved to be an issue during the first weeks. Nevertheless, after I explained my concerns to the team, they helped me improve my cooperative skills greatly. 

FURTHER TRAINING

Publishing houses are very complex companies that need to be at the top of the game everyday. Technology is constantly evolving, and in order to keep on track with the modern times, we need to do it as well. For this reason, I believe that both the company and the workers would benefit from trimestral trainings on new trends and working methods. 

To conclude, my working experience in this company has been really fruitful. I am aware that I need to keep improving and working on different fields, but I am confident that if additional training was provided, we would all benefit from it.
