Bohemian Rhapsody

A name like Freddy Mercury is not something one forgets about easily. And that becomes impossible after you hear his voice. But if you watch "Bohemian Rhapsody" the latest motion film about his life, you will become even more attracted to his persona. That is why discussing its impact on society is so important. 

Some experts may say that the film glorifies his figure, but what the director accomplished in this piece of art is unbelievable. Freddy is known by many as the lead singer of the English rock band Queen, but not everybody is aware of how hard his final years actually were. For that reason this film is so important, because it helps us understand how his final days gave way to his last album, considered by many one of the best of history. 

In addition, although Mercury's life was publicly known, the younger generations may not be aware of what an impact for AIDS patients worldwide he had. Many haters banned his music and shamed his way of life. However, this incredible singer not only made history because of his eccentric music videos and incredible vocals, but also by the way he faced death and inspired hope for millions of people around the world. 

Despite what some may say about Freddy Mercury, I believe that it is important to give him credit for everything he accomplished in his short life, not only for the music industry, but also for humanity. And a film like Bohemian Rhapsody will help honor his memory and let the legend live on.
